Coca Cola wanted to get more consumers to buy the 2 liter bottles of Coke in Russia and drink at home. Hence the idea behind this commercial: Coke is even better with friends. And the more friends the merrier. And the more Coke you need for all of them. It's great to be home when there's Coke there, too.
The spot worked very well with a 60% increase in sales and 90% increase in awareness winning praise from Coca Cola Atlanta and setting a new bench mark for Coke in Russia.
